Following this guide will speed up (hopefully) any account upgrades.
first off if you can, use the forum account you used to create the account the accounts on the forum are linked to their accounts they create, if you cant or you have not had your forum account linked then a email will be sent to the email address the hosting account was created with.
be clear with what you want and set the subject of the topic. example ("Temporary bandwidth upgrade")
make sure the message states why you want the upgrade
example
"I have used up almost 90% of my bandwith and theres still 20 days left ^_^ can you please upgrade my account"
if you have access to the account but not the email, you can allways put up a page thats not listed
